Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of information being furnished dated 10.12.2024 with the Officer-in-Charge, Narendrapur Police Station, no steps have been taken.

State has submitted a report which reflects that the Inspector-in-Charge, Narendrapur Police Station has stated that Narendrapur Police Station Case No. 87/2025 dated 17.01.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of law.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent no. 4 submits that the accusations which have been levelled against the private respondent are false and frivolous and because of

some other reasons, the petitioner has left the home.

Be that as it may, since the very purpose of the present writ petition was for police to take appropriate action and police authorities have taken steps, I am of the view that the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred is subserved.

The petitioner would be at liberty to approach the appropriate forum in respect of other remedies which have been referred to in the writ petition. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 863 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
