Masud ... for the State On the earlier occasion, a report was submitted on behalf of the State, wherein a letter has been enclosed which has been stated to be signed by the petitioner. The contents of the said letter states that there has been a settlement between Sobharani Mistri and Moru Mistri (respondent no.8) and the said letter was signed in presence of certain witnesses.

By an order dated 21.01.2025, the petitioner was directed to confirm the same by way of taking necessary instruction.

In view of the report submitted by the police authorities enclosing the documents, I am of the opinion that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted in the changed circumstances as reflected from the report of the Officer-in-Charge, Shyampur Police Station.

Accordingly, WPA 994 of 2025 is disposed of.

All the parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of the order.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
