Warrant of arrest so issued by the learned trial court on 27.03.2023 was because of absence of the present petitioner. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was earlier granted bail. It is further submitted that the petitioner would abide by the terms and conditions so imposed by the learned trial court and would co-operate with the further progress of the trial. Having regard to the undertaking given by the learned advocate for the petitioner that in case the petitioner surrenders by 08.03.2024, the learned trial court being the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Haldia, Purba Medinipur would allow the petitioner to continue on the same bail and bond subject to an additional condition of ensuring the presence of the petitioner on each and every date of trial so fixed.

In case the petitioner fails to surrender/appear on or before 08.03.2024, on 11.03.2024 the learned trial court would issue harsher process of law by adhering to the provisions of Section 82/83 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 142 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
