2. This is an application for restoration of the writ petition upon recalling the order dated 10th April, 2025.

3. By the order dated 10th April, 2025, the writ petition was dismissed for default.

Sudhangshu Nath, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner/applicant submits that due to sudden illness, he could not appear on the date, the writ petition was called on. He seeks for restoration of the writ petition upon recalling the order dated 10th April, 2025.

5. Despite service, none appears on behalf of the respondents.

6. Considering the averments made in the application and the submission advanced on behalf of the petitioner/applicant, it is found that sufficient cause has been shown to restore the writ petition.

7. Accordingly, the order dated 10th April, 2025 is recalled.

8. The writ petition being WPA 982 of 2025 is restored to its original file and number.

9. The application for restoration being CAN 1 of 2025 is disposed of.

10. Learned Advocate for the petitioner is directed to serve notice upon the respondents through registered speed post with acknowledgement due and file affidavit of service to that effect on the returnable date.
