1. The revisional application has been preferred praying for expeditious disposal of the application under Section 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 filed in connection with Ejectment Suit No.38 of 2013 pending before the Learned Civil Judge, (Junior Division), 1st Court at Sealdah, South 24 Parganas.

2. It appears that the application under Section 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 is pending hearing till date in a suit instituted in the year 2013.

3. It appears that there has been considerable delay in disposal of the suit and the application thereto by the trial court which is against the

principle of natural justice, and has caused prejudice to the petitioner herein.

4. Considering the nature of relief prayed for, service in the present case is dispensed with.

5. The revisional application is thus disposed of with the direction that the trial court being the Learned Civil Judge, Judicial Division, 1st Court, Sealdah shall make all endeavour to dispose of the application under Section 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 within 60 days from the date of communication of this order and then proceed to also dispose of the suit of 1994 expeditiously preferably within a year from the date of this order.

6. The revisional application stands disposed of.

7. Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently.

8. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

9. Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
