The petitioner complains that her husband committed suicide due to threat, intimidation and torture by the private respondent.

Serampore Police Station registered a case on the petitioner's complaint made before the ACJM under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. on the basis of First Information Report no.425 of 2022 dated 5.11.2022 under Sections 306/120B IPC. Investigation was conducted and the Police have filed report in the final form as a mistake of fact being FRMP No.452 of 2022 dated 31.12.2022.

In the above circumstances, this Court is of the view that the petitioner's remedy is against the final report of the police. Serampore Police Station will, however, ensure that the petitioner is able to live in

peace and the private respondent does not threaten or intimidate her in any way.

WPA No.844 of 2023 stands, accordingly, disposed of.
