(SB) Mr. Golam Mohammad ...for the Petitioner Mr. Om Narayan Rai ..... for the respondents The petitioner complains of violation of the order dated 14.09.2020, the CESC authority were directed to grant electricity supply to the petitioner subject to the petitioner making available suitable requisite infrastructure for installation of meter at the locale. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the alleged contemnors submits relying upon photographs, that, the petitioner is yet to provide requisite infrastructure at the locale to provide the electric meter. He submits that as the situation stands, in the event meter is installed, there is every likelihood of accident, loss of property and life.

There is substance in the contentions of the alleged contemnors. The photographs demonstrate that installation of meter at the locale may have consequences for life and property.

In such circumstances, the petition is disposed of.

Needless to say that the order dated 14.09.2020 remains.

In the event the petitioner is able to make available the requisite infrastructure for installation of the meter at the locale, CESC authority will no doubt provide a meter to the petitioner.
