Learned counsel for the State-respondents files a report authored by the Officer-in-Charge of Behala Police Station which indicates that, pursuant to the order dated February 10, 2021 passed in the writ petition, the petitioner approached the police with appropriate complaint and the police authorities have initiated action by incorporating the relevant Sections of the Indian Penal Code, including Sections 341, 323, 327, 506 and 34 thereof, and have undertaken investigation with regard to such complaint. As such, the grievance of the petitioner is substantially mitigated.

Report filed in Court today be kept on record. Accordingly, WPA 1000 of 2021 is disposed of by granting the petitioner liberty to approach the court of the competent magistrate in the event the petitioner is of the view that investigation is not being undertaken properly.

There will be no order as to costs.
