Heard the learned counsels for the parties.

Perused the case diary.

It is alleged that the petitioner was a friend of the paramour of the victim lady. Taking advantage of the acquaintance, the petitioner committed rape upon the alleged victim on 25.08.2025. When this was disclosed to the paramour, he started taking advantage of the victim. 4.

The paramour has been arrested and granted bail within six days. There is a delay of about a month and half in lodging the FIR. 5.

Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected.
