Paul ..for the respondent no.3 It appears that the petitioner is seeking the release of the terminal benefits of his father who was a Constable in the Kolkata Police and died in harness. This Court, therefor, does not have the jurisdiction to try and determine the writ petition. The competent forum is the West Bengal Administrative Tribunal constituted under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 in view of the provisions of section 15 thereof. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file afresh on the self same cause if otherwise permissible in law before the appropriate forum. (Arindam Mukherjee, J. )
