The petitioner was the Assistant Teacher of Mouri Majhina F.P.

School, a school under Ketugram West Circle of Purba Bardhaman District Primary School Council.

The petitioner, claiming to be a surplus teacher of his present school, is praying transfer to any school under another Circle of the said Council. A representation of the petitioner to the said effect dated February 03, 2025 forms part of the supplementary affidavit filed today.

The Chairman of the District Primary School Council, the respondent no.6 herein is directed to consider the said representation in accordance with

law only on the ground that the petitioner is a surplus teacher of his present school and shall make endeavour to place him in a school where he has a requirement.

WPA 911 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
