Petitioner is a relation of the principal accused. It is contended the principal accused has been granted anticipatory bail. Accordingly, he prays for similar relief. 2.

Learned Advocates for the State and de facto complainant submits petitioner had abused and assaulted the victim when she demanded money.

We have considered the materials on record. There was free mixing between the principal accused i.e. son of the petitioner and the victim. It is also alleged son of the petitioner had induced her to part with Rs.32 lakhs which has been misappropriated.

There is no allegation that petitioner participated in these activities. Possibility of roping of the

petitioner in the present case to exert pressure on the principal accused to return the money cannot be ruled out. 4.

Under such circumstances, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner viz., Md Abu Naser @ Abu Naser be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. He shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
