Investigation was handed over to Criminal Investigation Department pursuant to the order dated November 4, 2024, passed by a Coordinate Bench in CRM (A) 3744 of 2024.

The petitioner says that he was not named in the first charge sheet filed by the Investigating Authority. Investigation is now complete insofar as this petitioner is concerned and a supplementary charge sheet has been issued against some accused persons including this petitioner. He is in custody for 90 days in connection with this case. He prays for bail. There was no recovery from him. He has been implicated only on the basis of statements made by co-accused persons. 3.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State says that investigation is still going on. Efforts have been made to unearth money trail. It may well be possible that

material will come to light indicating involvement of this petitioner in the alleged crime.

We see that on the ground of pendency of further investigation, we turned down the bail prayer of coaccused persons in CRM (NDPS) 71 of 2025. 5.

Since further investigation is going on, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

The prayer for bail is rejected.

CRM (NDPS) 72 of 2025 is dismissed.
