The petitioner alleges that the Corporation was yet to dispose of the complaint against unauthorized construction at premises no. 1595, Madurdah, Ward No. 108, Borough-XII of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

Reference has been made to the order dated 17th September, 2018 passed in WP 15443 (W) of 2018 wherein the Court directed the Corporation to endeavour to conclude the proceeding under Section 400(1) of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980 within a period of twelve weeks.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that last hearing was conducted in January 2023 but thereafter the fate of the hearing was never made known to the petitioner.

Learned advocate appearing for the Corporation produces the final order passed by the Special Officer (Building) on 21st February, 2023. Let a copy of the same be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

The parties shall take necessary steps pursuant to the order passed by the Special Officer.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
