Chakraborty Mr. Sananda Mohan Ghosh ... for respondent no. 6, 7, 8 It is the grievance of the petitioner that though he has been nominated by his grand-father in respect of a flat of Rail Vihar Cooperative Housing Society Ltd., the Society is not issuing the membership and share certificate in his favour.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent Society, on the other hand, submits that as per the applicable law, a grand son cannot be nominated. I am, however, not inclined to delve into the dispute as raised by the parties before this Court.

I grant liberty upon the petitioner to approach the concerned Registrar of the Cooperative Society in terms of Section 102 of the Cooperative Societies Act, 2006 in accordance with law.

Accordingly, WPA 917 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent certified photostat copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance of all necessary formalities. (Kausik Chanda, J.)
