Matter relates to transfer of the petitioner on the ground of distance in between the present school of the petitioner and her place of residence. However, on hearing the learned advocate representing the petitioner and on perusal of the writ petition it appears that petitioner preferred previous writ petition being WPA 23098 of 2022 and same was disposed of by this Court on 8th August, 2024 directing the District Inspector of Schools (SE) concerned to take steps in terms of Government notification dated 3rd January, 2022 to facilitate petitioner's transfer provided willing teacher is found from neighbouring school who can man the post of the petitioner temporarily. During course of hearing

attention of this Court has been drawn to memo dated 1st October, 2024 issued by the concerned District Inspector of Schools wherefrom it appears that the concerned District Inspector of Schools took steps in terms of Government notification dated 3rd January, 2022 by issuing two memoranda dated 5th September, 2024 and 10th September, 2024 requesting the neighbouring schools to inform the concerned District Inspector of Schools in the event any teacher comes forward to be deputed in place of the petitioner temporarily in order to facilitate petitioner's transfer.

In view of the steps taken by the District Inspector of Schools concerned as it emanates from memo dated 1st October, 2024 no further order need be passed on this writ petition excepting further direction is given upon the concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE) Birbhum to continue to find out willing teacher of neighbouring schools who can be deputed in the resultant vacancy to be created due to transfer of the petitioner and in the event such teacher is found steps shall be taken for transfer of the petitioner. Writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
