Petitioner alleges that the respondents are pressurizing, threatening the petitioner who deposed falsely before a court of law in respect of the case which has been filed by him. Since the petitioner refused to do the same, he has been inflicted with tremendous mental torture.

To that effect, an information was furnished before the police authorities. The said information which was furnished is almost two years ago.

Having considered that substantial period of time has passed and the report of the police authorities reflects that they took steps at the relevant point of time in the year 2022, I am of the view that if there are further changes in circumstances, petitioner would be entitled to file an appropriate information to the jurisdictional police

station or his Superior Officer. The police authorities would consider the same in the background of the ground situation existing so far as the petitioner is concerned.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 888 of 2023 is disposed of.
