Petitioner was aggrieved by the act and action of the police authorities as in spite of informing the Officer-in-Charge, Jangipara Police Station on or about 28.07.2022 no action has been taken.

More than two and a half years have passed since the information was furnished.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report wherefrom it reflects that there has been change of circumstances and at the relevant period of time when the petitioner complained, proceedings were drawn up under section 107/116 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Having regard to the present situation after two and a half years, as is reflected from the report of the Officer-in-Charge, Jangipara Police Station, I am

of the view that no directions are required to be passed.

However, police authorities would act in case fresh representation of any breach of the peace is reported to the police station.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 889 of 2023 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
