Petitioner is in custody for about 224 days. It is submitted he is not the principal accused. He prays for bail. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the minor victim. Petitioner had aided and abetted the commission of crime. Date has been fixed for recording evidence of minor.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
