The petitioner is an operator as regards the route from "Krishnagar to Barakar". Objection has been raised by him as to the plying of the two buses owned by the South Bengal State Transport Corporation/respondent no. 5, that is, WB 39B 4866 and WB 39B 2263.

The petitioner's allegation is that the said buses of the respondent nos. 4 and 5, are plying without the valid permit as well as timetable and without valid insurance and certificate of fitness as to the said vehicles.

Elaborating his grievances, the petitioner has written vide letter dated December 14, 2024 to the respondent nos 1 and 4, seeking redress.

Parties are represented.

Heard the submissions and perused the records. It is found proper to dispose of this writ petition by directing the respondent no. 4 to consider and decide as to the letter of the petitioner dated December 14, 2024, by dint of a reasoned order.

In doing so, the respondent no. 4 is directed to grant adequate and reasonable opportunity to the petitioner as well as the respondent no. 5 for hearing and conclude the entire proceeding within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of copy of this order. It's order shall be communicated to the petitioner as well as respondent no. 5, within one week from its date.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents including the private respondents. 9.

With the above observations and directions, the writ petition being WPA 1004 of 2025 is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.

10. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
