Petitioner Ms. Debolina Das ...for the petitioner The petitioner has challenged the continuance of ST No. 198 of 2022 arising out of Belur Police Station Case No. 219/2021 dated 27.09.2021 wherein the investigating agency has filed charge-sheet under Sections 376/506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Records of the revisional application reflect that after framing of charge, evidence of the case has already commenced. Having regard to the stage at which the petitioner approached this Court, I am of the view that the plea taken by the petitioner is not acceptable.

The learned trial court is directed to expedite the process of trial by fixing a schedule consisting of three days once in every two months.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 162 of 2024 is disposed of.
