Reports submitted by the learned advocate for the State be kept with the record. Reports have been prepared by the Officerin-Charge, Raina Police Station, Purba Bardhaman. Reports reflect that the warrant of arrest was executed and the accused was produced before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar, 24 Parganas (North) on 23 February, 2024.

Records reflect that the learned Magistrate earlier fixed on 27th December, 2025 for execution return.

Having considered that the accused was arrested and produced before the court, I direct the learned Magistrate to prepone the date of the case and dispose of the application under Section 143A of the Negotiable Instruments Act within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order. The learned trial court would thereafter fix date for evidence of the prosecution in every 45 days so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No

unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties. The trial of the case would continue in spite of any resolution of local bar and the participating advocates will not in any manner stall the proceedings because of such resolution. All stakeholders would cooperate with the trial court to conclude the trial at the earliest. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 168 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
