The petitioner filed an application for transfer from her present school to another on 23.09.2021. It was her second application. When this application was made, at that time the embargo and/or the advance in respect of transfer of single teacher had come into effect. In fact, the relevant government order dated 22nd September, 2021 directed the concerned District Inspector of Schools to look for some local arrangement and further procedure in this regard has been laid down there and the school has been directed not to reject the transfer application of the petitioner.

In such circumstances, I direct the school to send the transfer order to the District Inspector of Schools within a period of seven days from the date of communication of this order and the District Inspector of Schools is directed to make an effort to see whether any local arrangement can be made for the post in which the petitioner is working. The DI will make endeavour for a local arrangement and for this purpose, three months time is granted to him. After three months or if local arrangement is

made before that, the DI will intimate the petitioner about the local arrangement or failure to do so. If local arrangement can be made, the procedure to be taken up by the DI should continue immediately thereafter so that the petitioner can be transferred to some other school.

With the above observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
