This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in considering his 18 years service benefits.

The contention of the petitioner is that the school authority has sent the papers of the petitioner to the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Hooghly and the same is yet to be considered by the school authority.

In light of the same, the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Hooghly, being the respondent no.3 is directed to pass a reasoned order on the application made by the petitioner with regard to grant of approval of 18 years service benefits within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. The reasoned order should be communicated to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of passing of the same.

I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the case.

With these observations, WPA 1111 of 2021 is disposed of.

Since, no affidavit-in-opposition has been called for the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted by the respondents.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
