08.04.2022 sayandeep Sl. No. 06 Ct. No. 05 WPA 832 of 2022 Probodh Biswas -Versus- The State of West Bengal & Ors.
Mr. Debdutta Basu Mr. Sudip Sarkar ...... for the petitioner Mr. Debasish Chattopadhyay Mr. Suman Dey .... for the State Ms. Tapati Samanta ..... for District Library Officer The controversy in the present matter arises from a hand-written letter of the petitioner dated 9th February, 2022 which states that the petitioner has not filed any writ petition in the Court. The number of the writ petition is also mentioned in the letter. The petitioner is present in Court today. The petitioner states that although he did not physically come to Court on earlier occasions, the signature at page 12 of the writ petition is of the petitioner's. The petitioner states that the writ petition was signed in his residence. It is also stated that the petitioner has no further dues from the District Library Officer. Since the petitioner, in person, submits that all dues have been cleared by the District Library Officer, nothing further remains to be
decided to this writ petition which is accordingly disposed of in terms of the statements made by the petitioner in Court today.
