The writ petitioner complains that the private respondents have been continuously inflicting torture on him since after execution of a gift deed of sali land in their favour.

The writ petitioner has lodged a complaint with the Nandigram Police Station in this regard and alleged inaction.

Counsel for the State, Mr. Sen, has submitted that on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, FIR was registered and charge-sheet has been submitted being C.S. No. 176 of 2022 dated 28th March, 2022 under Sections 341/323/325/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

This Court, therefore, sees no inaction on the part of the police. However, the Officer-in-Charge, Nandigram Police Station, is hereby directed to visit the petitioner's residence and to warn the private respondents against any torture or any mistreatment

of the petitioner. Nandigram Police Station shall also keep regular vigil of the petitioner's premises. With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
