Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been arraigned in this case for alleged recovery of 27.08 kgs of ganja.
Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that one of the accused person is absconding. Having considered the quantum of seizure and the period of detention of the present petitioner, I direct the learned trial court to exhaust the process of law within a period of two months from this date and split up the trial of the case. Petitioner be released on bail after the stage of consideration of charges are over by the learned trial court on such terms and conditions as the learned trial court deems fit and proper for ensuring the appearance of the
accused in course of the trial.
With the aforesaid observations, CRM(NDPS) 116 of 2026 is disposed of.
Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to the learned special court in seisin of the present case.
