By filing this Public Interest Litigation the petitioner seeks for a sweeping direction against the Police authorities, the Regional Transport authorities on the ground that they are illegally detaining the vehicles which are plying in the road and demanding money from them. Such a sweeping relief cannot be granted and that too in a Public Interest Litigation. If any person is individually aggrieved, it is well open to him to invoke the appropriate remedy available in law before the appropriate forum.
