Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the prosecution case relates to alleged recovery of 487 grams of brown sugar from the matrimonial home of the petitioner and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the petitioner had been evading the process of law since the year 2022 and has been arrested in the month of November, 2025. Having considered the period for which the petitioner was not within the framework of law, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail as also considering the fact that the provision of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted.

Accordingly, CRM(NDPS)118 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
