It appears that in respect of the complaints received from the parties, the Panrui Police Station, Birbhum has applied before the concerned Magistrate for prosecution under Section 323/504/506/34 of the IPC.

This Court is of the view that the dispute between the parties is purely civil in nature and must be agitated before the appropriate civil forum. The Panrui Police Station, Birbhum shall, however, ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area and shall make strict vigil thereat.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

The report of the Panrui Police Station, Birbhum, addressed to the learned Government Pleader, dated 01.02.2022 is taken on record. There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
