Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for 134 days and charge-sheet has already been submitted and the petitioner is similarly placed as the said accused person who has been granted bail in CRM (M) 2662 of 2025. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention to the statement of the wife of the deceased. Learned advocate for the de-facto complainant is present and opposes the prayer for bail.

I have taken into account the complicity of the present petitioner, the fact which has been brought to the notice of the Court that for other accused persons the case could not proceed. Having regard to the same, I am not inclined to release the present petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 168 of 2026 is dismissed.
