1. Affidavit of service, filed today, is taken on record.

2. In spite of service, respondent no. 6 is not represented.

3. Ms. Chattopadhyay, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner, submits that name of the petitioner in the cause title of the writ petition has been wrongly incorporated as "Bijoylaxmi Gupta" in place and stead of "Bijaylaxmi Gupta".

4. Leave is granted to the learned advocate-onrecord to correct the name of the petitioner in the cause title as "Bijaylaxmi Gupta".

5. Petitioner is an Assistant Teacher in the school and also teacher-in-charge thereof. Grievance of the petitioner is that her application for transfer has not been considered.

6. It appears from the records that the application for transfer made by the petitioner is not in the prescribed format and has been made directly before the concerned District Inspector of Schools.

7. The petitioner is directed to make an application in the prescribed format to the school authorities by May 15, 2026.

8. Respondent no. 6 will consider the application of the petitioner and upon consideration if the petitioner is found eligible, forward the same to the concerned District Inspector of Schools by May 31, 2026.

9. The suspension of „Utsashree Portal‟ will not be an impediment for the concerned authority to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner. The same shall be considered in an offline mode.

10. With these aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

11. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

12. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
