Chatterjee Mr. Mani Sankar Chattopadhyay ..for the petitioner Mr. Mir Anuruzzaman ..for Rajpur Sonarpur Municipality It is the grievance of the petitioner that in front of the entrance of her residence at holding no. 188 (Old no.9867), South Laskarpur Road, Lenin Sarani, Ward no.31 of Rajpur Sonarpur Municipality, respondent no.5 has constructed an office room without any permission from Rajpur Sonarpur Municipality. The petitioner has made a representation before the Board of Councillors, Rajpur Sonarpur Municipality for removal of the office.

The petitioner submits that the said representation has not yet been considered by the Municipality.

In the aforesaid facts, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction upon Rajpur Sonarpur Municipality to consider the representation dated November 24, 2022, within a period of one month from

the date of communication of this order and take necessary steps in accordance with law.

The municipality shall hear all concerned including the petitioner, if necessary.

Accordingly, WPA 957 of 2023 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
