Public Prosecutor Mr. Manoranjan Mahata ... ... for the State It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody for about 550 days. It is further submitted no recovery was made from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposes the prayer for bail and submits petitioner was identified in course of Test Identification Parade. His finger prints matched with the finger prints collected at the place of occurrence.

In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is thus rejected.
