Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that he is without any instruction with regard to the payment made by his client in terms of the earlier order.

Learned advocate appearing for the distribution company submits that no payment in terms of the earlier order was made by the petitioner. State is represented.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the conduct of the petitioner subsequent to the order and considering the involvement of the petitioner in the offence, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 264 of 2022 is, thus, dismissed.
