2. Contempt Rule was issued by the coordinate Bench on April 30, 2009 for violating the order dated November 17, 2008 passed in F.M.A 2644 of 2008, where the submissions of the respective advocates for the parties to the effect that, there was a possibility of settlement, was recorded

3. In view of passage of time from the date of issuance of Rule till date, and since no steps were taken subsequent to order dated March 29, 2011, no useful purpose will be subserved by keeping the Contempt Rule pending.

4. In such circumstances, CRC 9 of 2009 is discharged.

5. Connected applications, if there be any, are dismissed for default.
