Mr. Uday Sankar Chattopadhyay Ms. Trisha Rakshit Ms. Aishwarya Datta ...for the petitioner.

Mr. Saibal Bapuli Mr. Santanu Roy ...for the State.

1. Leave is granted to correct the cause title.

2. Heard the learned counsels for the parties.

3. Perused the case diary.

4. Although the case pertains to the year 2018, it appears that a notice was issued by the Investigating Officer under Section 41(A) of the Cr.P.C. and the petitioner had complied with the same.

5. Considering the above and the other materials available in the case diary and the fact that charge-sheet has been submitted, I do not think that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required in this case and I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local,

to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the petitioner shall not threaten or intimidate the witnesses. The petitioner shall surrender before the learned jurisdictional Court and pray for bail within four weeks from date and regularly attend the jurisdictional Court.

7. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed.
