1. The petitioners, by way of this public interest litigation seek for an inquiry to be conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation alleging financial irregularities in Bhogpur Gram Panchayat in Kolaghat Development Block, Purba Medinipur.

2. As could be seen from the material papers annexed to the writ petition, the petitioners had submitted request under the Right to Information Act and there is no comprehensive representation submitted to the District Magistrate.

3. Therefore, we dispose of this writ petition giving liberty to the writ petitioners to submit a comprehensive representation to the 5th respondent viz. the District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur enclosing a copy of this order and as and when the representation is submitted, the District Magistrate shall consider the same and dispose of the representation in accordance with law after notice to all concerned.

4. These directions be complied with within a period of four weeks from the date on which the representation is received.

5. No costs.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
