In spite of communication of the order dated 22nd May, 2025 to Mrs. Tripti Pandey, learned Advocate for the petitioners, the writ petitioners are not represented nor they have filed individual affidavits as directed by the order dated 29th August, 2023 and extended by the order dated 22nd May, 2025.

We have made it very clear in our earlier order dated 22nd May, 2025 that in the event such affidavit is not filed by the adjourned date, we may dismiss the petition for noncompliance of the direction of the earlier Bench as such affidavits are relevant and required for deciding the locus of the petitioners in this public interest litigation. The importance of such affidavits would appear from the observation of the coordinate Bench presided over by the Hon'ble the Chief Justice in the order dated 29th August, 2023, which reads as follows:

"Before we proceed further, we direct all the 6 writ

petitioners to file individual affidavits clearly stating as to whether they were arrayed as an accused in a criminal case either pending or disposed of with regard to the criminal case which is still pending, the stage of such case has also to be mentioned. Let such affidavit be filed by next hearing."
