Report reflects that police authorities on 08.01.2025 has registered New Town PS Case No. 00 dated 08.01.2025 (Zero FIR) and forwarded the FIR to Kulti Police Station through Deputy Commissioner of Police, New Town Division.

In view of the police authorities taking steps for registration of the FIR and Kulti Police Station is supposed to proceed with the investigation of the case in respect of the victim/petitioner who has been allegedly deceived of an amount of money, the primary grievance for initiation of the writ petition having been subserved pursuant to the police authorities having taken steps.

Petitioner would pursue his further remedies before the jurisdictional court having authority over Kulti Police Station. If any application is taken out, the learned Magistrate would consider the same in accordance with law.

Police authorities are directed to take investigation to its logical conclusion by putting in efforts as efficiently as possible.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 947 of 2024 is disposed of.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
