Mr. Ratul Ghosh ... for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners along with four others were arraigned in connection with the instant case for alleged recovery of 30.450 kg of ganja along with arms.

It has been contended that the petitioners are in custody since June, 2025.

Learned advocate for the state opposes the prayer for bail and submits that from the dicky of the vehicle, contraband along with arms and ammunitions were recovered.

Having considered the nature of the offence and the fact that charge has just been framed as also the fact that witness action is yet to commence, I am not inclined to

enlarge the petitioner on bail until and unless the evidence of the seizure list witnesses is over.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

However, the learned trial court is directed to give priority to the seizure list witnesses.

The petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the seizure list witnesses is over. Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 125 of 2026 is dismissed. Let the aforesaid action be completed by 31st March, 2026.
