The said order reflects that the police authorities have taken effective steps. FSL report has been obtained. Opinion was also obtained from the Superintendent of Contai SD Hospital regarding final opinion of the attending doctor and statement of the complainant was recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The principal accused was arrested and forwarded to the learned court. Since the police authorities have taken effective steps on the merits of the investigation of the case so that they can file their report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, I am of the view that the investigating agency will put in further efforts so that the investigation of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion.
It has been alleged that the petitioner is presently facing threats by the private respondents
who are influential. In case an application is made before the learned Magistrate by the petitioner for his protection as well as the witnesses who would support the prosecution case, learned Magistrate would pass necessary directions after obtaining threat perception report for protection of the witnesses in connection with Patashpur P.S. Case No.115/2024 dated 12.02.2024.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 1114 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
