By an order dated 21st February, 2025. This court was pleased to grant bail to the petitioners, inter alia, on condition that they shall remain within the jurisdiction of Barrackpore Police Station and shall report to the Inspector-in-charge, Barrackpore Police Station once in a fortnight until further orders.

It appears from the report that the petitioners did not appear at the Barrackpore Police Station since 21st February, 2025. The petitioners submit that they reside within the jurisdiction of Barrackpore Police Commissionerate and as such, they could not comply the conditions imposed in the said order.

Having heard learned counsel for both the parties, let the bail order passed by this court vide order dated 21st January, 2025 is hereby modified as follows:- "the Petitioners henceforth shall remain within the jurisdiction of Barrackpore Police Commissionrate and shall report to the Inspector-in-charge, Barrackpore Police Station once in a fortnight until further order and he will comply such order without praying for relaxation at least for next six months.".

The order dated 21st January, 2025 is modified to that extent only. Other portions of the order shall remain unaltered.

CRAN 1 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of.
