Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated. There is a claim of a deed of conveyance as noted in the order dated January 31, 2022. There is no material on record to suggest that there is a registered deed of conveyance.

A report was called for by the order dated January 31, 2022 from the police which states that the cheques issued by the petitioner were not encashed. The police are still investigating as to whether the petitioner is a Bangladeshi national or not.

State and the de facto complainant are represented. In the conspectus of the facts obtaining in the present case and considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

CRM (A) 269 of 2022 is rejected.
