Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The petitioner is aggrieved by the mode and manner and progress of the investigation relating to Liluah Police Station Case No. 682/2024 dated 28.12.2024.

State has submitted a report which reflects that another counter-case has been filed by one Susmita Saha being Liluah Police Station Case No. 688/2024 dated 30.12.2024.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the mode and manner of investigation particularly with regard to the manner in which the police authorities have not effected appropriate seizures and/or relating to CCTV footages of the locality.

Be that as it may, the manner in which the investigation would proceed is an exclusive domain of the police authorities/investigating authorities. The petitioner at this stage being the complainant cannot monitor the investigation after the investigation is vested with the police authorities.

However, if the petitioner files an application before the learned Magistrate for progress of the investigation adhering to the prayers advanced before this Court, the learned Magistrate in seisin of the cases would consider the same in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 1059 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
