...for the respondent The learned Counsel for the parties have submitted that during pendency of this appeal, the parties have amicably settled their disputes and the appeal may be dismissed for non-prosecution. However, it is submitted that in view of the order dated 11th May, 2018, the occupational charges have been collected by the Special Officers appointed by an order dated 11th May, 2018 with a direction to open a bank account to deposit such occupational charges. The Advocates-on-Record of both the parties were appointed as Special Officers. The learned Counsel for the parties submit that in view of the settlement, the entire occupational charges may be paid to the appellant.

Accordingly, we dispose of this appeal by recording that the parties have amicably settled their disputes and the occupational charges collected in terms of the order dated 11th May, 2018, shall be paid in favour of the appellant within three weeks from date. The Punjab National Bank (previously United Bank of India), High Court Branch, is directed to issue a bank draft in the name of the appellant and hand over the said bank draft to Sri Gobinda Chandra Mandal upon proper identification.

The Special Officers accordingly stand discharged. The appeal is accordingly, disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

The letter of instruction issued by the appellant in favour of Mr. Prantick Ghosh is kept with the record.
