Mr. Suman Dey ... For the contemnor The contempt petition arises out of an order dated 28th March, 2008 passed in WP 9930 (W) of 2008. The documents dated 23rd April, 2009 and 29th April, 2009 are placed before the Court by the contemnors to demonstrate compliance of the order dated 28th March, 2008. The said documents are taken on record. On behalf of the contemnors Mr. Suman Dey, the learned advocate submits that he had informed Mr. Srikanta Datta, the learned advocate through whom the contempt petition was filed, that the matter will appear in the list today in terms of the order dated 28th June, 2021. Neither Mr. Datta nor any one on behalf of the applicant/ petitioner is present. No one has applied on behalf of the applicant/petitioner to join in the virtual mode. After perusing the documents filed in Court today, it appears that the order dated 28th March, 2008 has been complied with.
Learned advocate representing the contemnors are directed to supply a copy of the documents dated 23rd April, 2009 and 29th April, 2009 to the applicant petitioner and/or her advocate, if not already served, by course of 2nd July, 2021.
Nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the contempt petition. The contempt proceedings is dropped. The contempt petition is disposed of without any further orders. The Rule stands discharged.
