1. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits he is the khalasi of the vehicle in question. He was unaware of the contraband being loaded in the vehicle. Investigation is complete. He prays for bail.

We have considered the materials on record.

Statements of witnesses show petitioner was actively involved in transportation of narcotics i.e. 2000 litres of Phensedyl Syrup above commercial quantity was loaded in the vehicle. Under such circumstances ad in view of statutory restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
