Petitioner appearing in person submits that he is apprehensive regarding the act and action of the Officer-in-Charge, Mogra Police Station as he claims that he was foisted with a fake criminal case and also recovery of arms were shown. According to the petitioner, the same was at the behest of one of the accused in the CBI case who has fraudulently obtained job. The petitioner apprehends that his life is at danger as the local police officers are after him.

Be that as it may, as has been pointed out by Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate for the State that a police picket has been deployed for the security of the petitioner, the same be not withdrawn without

the permission of the Superintendent of Police of the concerned district.

So far as the documents which are in custody of the petitioner, the petitioner will hand over the same to the investigating officer of R.C. Case No. 07/2023. It would be the discretion of the investigating officer to work out on the genuinity of the information.

As the case is progressing, at this stage further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 1157 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
