Mr. Suman De, learned advocate representing the contemnor submits that the order dated 17th February, 2009 passed by the Director of School Education, West Bengal in compliance of the order dated 13th February, 2008 passed in WP 22677 (W) of 2007 was served on Ms. Sanghamitra Nandy, learned advocate for the applicant/petitioner on 2nd July, 2021 in terms of the direction given in the order dated 1st July, 2021.

The applicant/petitioner remains unrepresented. No one has applied for joining on virtual mode on behalf of the applicant/petitioner.

After perusing the order dated 17th February, 2009 passed by the Director of School Education, West Bengal, it appears that the order dated 13th February, 2009, which gave rise to the contempt proceeding has been complied with.

The contempt proceeding is dropped and contempt petition is disposed of by recording compliance of the order, the violation whereof has been complained of in the contempt petition.

Rule stands discharged.
